Resistance spot welding system, controlled by a microprocessor, designed for car body shop repairs. The welding control unit with digital touchscreen enables to display and check all the welding parameters according to the type of tool, the type and thickness of the sheets to be welded. Some of the welders main features include a system that automatically acknowledges the tool connected to the machine. A welding tool equipped with built-in transformer that is connected to the machine by means of an industrial plug and quick connection devices. Thus, it is possible to easily change the tool avoiding the use of keys, tools and screws. The machine also has a fully water-cooled welding tool, transformer, arms and electrodes, by means of a closed circuit cooling system placed on the trolly of the machine.

The 3664 features closed-circuit water cooling of the inverter power supply, power cables, arms, and electrodes. The cooling of these many components not only makes you more comfortable while welding, but also assures that maximum power is always available at the weld point between the electrodes.

Enormous Welding Power

The 3664 produces 14,000 amps of welding current at the electrodes. This enormous welding current is generated with low amp draw and high efficiency by the 3664's internal inverter technology. This same technology minimizes the heat-affected area, reduces the risk of porosity, and eliminates defects due to fluctuations in the power supply. The 3664 also has a spueeze force of 1,350lbs!
